Job Title: Marketing Specialist (Entry-Level)

As we grow, we are seeking a motivated entry-level Marketing Specialist to expand our presence across digital channels and in the local business community.
Position Summary:
The Marketing Specialist will play a key role in building and maintaining Neighborhood Energy’s marketing presence. This position is ideal for a recent graduate or early-career professional with a passion for digital marketing, brand building, and community engagement. You’ll be responsible for managing our social media strategy, creating engaging content, updating website SEO, and representing Neighborhood Energy at networking events across New England.
Responsibilities:
Develop, manage, and grow Neighborhood Energy’s social media presence across LinkedIn, Instagram, and other relevant platforms.
Create engaging, professional content (posts, graphics, short videos) aligned with our brand and mission.
Monitor social media performance and recommend strategies to increase reach and engagement.
Attend industry networking events, conferences, and business mixers in New England to promote Neighborhood Energy and expand professional connections.
Collaborate with leadership to develop marketing campaigns that support business development goals.
Assist with marketing materials such as presentations, flyers, and newsletters.
Track and report on marketing activities and provide recommendations for improvement.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience).
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Familiarity with social media platforms and digital marketing tools.
Outgoing personality with confidence in networking and representing a company in professional settings.
Self-motivated, organized, and able to work independently in a remote environment.
Must reside within a 50-mile radius of Manchester, NH, with willingness to travel to networking events across New England.
